History

In 1966, Dr. Joaquin Farnós Gauchia, owner and manager of the Hotel Palasiet, reintroduces  thalassotherapy for medical purposes into our country, to create the first Heliomarine Hydrotherapy Center for functional rehabilitation in Benicasim.

 

Subsequently, in 1970, Dr. Farnós founded the Hotel "Termas Marinas el Palasiet" to respond to the current reality in nowadays health tourism. From this new perspective, the hotel remains faithful to tradition and serious medical use of  thalassotherapy as a means of finding the balance and welfare through seawater and its elements.

 

The spa hotel and the Thermal Center have been renovated to fully satisfy the wishes and needs of their clients who seek to combat and prevent the drawbacks associated with modern life: stress, fatigue, obesity, anxiety, or simply  to maintain a good physical condition.
